Letter to PM Tony Abbott re Liberal Party

August 25, 2010

The Hon Anthony Abbott, MP,

Parliament House,

Canberra  ACT  2600

Dear Mr. Abbott,

A Gentler Liberal Party,

You spoke recently about a gentler Liberal Party.

Way back in 2001, I took the Victorian Liberal Party Manifesto and modified it to make it gentler.  I enclose it for your consideration.

I also enclose a page from a site entitled “Twenty-six words to change the way corporations operate”.  You can read more at : http://www.citizenworks.org/issues/latest_news/hinkley.php

The Code for Corporate Citizenship would change the very nature of the corporation by changing its legally mandated purpose. After its enactment, the corporate pursuit of profit would be restricted so that it not come “at the expense of the environment, human rights, the public safety, the welfare of the communities in which the corporation operates or the dignity of its employees.

And I would be pleased to present you with various sites and ideas for reforming the monetary system, so it works for us all.

Yours Sincerely,

Clement Clarke, www.MakingABeautifulWorld.com
